!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
; snapped the right hand mounting bolt for the track bar brace on Saturday (
more on that in a later post
). I’m new to GM, and am having a time trying to find the specs of the bolt and nut, and where to find a replacement.
Subaru is kind enough to include the required fasteners in their BOMs. Maybe I’m not looking in the right spot... or maybe I’m just spoiled...

The torque spec is eh, whatever. It’s a sloppily-made
UAW-“made” accountant-“engineered” “car”

Was it like this? If so then here: http://www.hawksmotorsports.com/panhard-bar-mounting-hardware-kit/

It did look like that. My understanding is that those linked
are used for mounting
the track bar itself. It looks like the same hardware set is used on the track bar brace, too. I
s that correct?

Torque specs I got. What I’m trying to figure out is what the bolt actually is.

oops, sorry, I read it wrong :/
anyway, you can probably
take it to a hardware store and they can figure it out for you.

I'd go to your local pick n pull or equivalent and get another until I cold order a few new replacements. https://www.spohn.net/shop/1982-1992-GM-F-Body/Suspension/Hardware-Kits/Panhard-Bar-Mounting-Hardware-Kit.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwnNvaBRCmARIsAOfZq-11WbqhbhzXtQL-7OCuGKQYsPoYiN1kXVWYY9Bn0koMt6ndaWxrMvsaAnZ_EALw_wcB

The car’s immobile anyway due to a dead fuel pump (
hence how this happened in the first place
), so the pick n pull shouldn’t be necessary.
Just to confirm, the right hand side track bar brace / panhard bar brace mount uses the same bolt as the two for mounting the track bar / panhard bar, correct? That’s my understanding, but I haven’t been able to find direct confirmation on that.

I’m not sure as my Camaro doesn’t have fancy things like track bars. I’m sure that if you found a place that sells the various bits you could give them a call and they’d be able to steer you in the right direction.

I sold my 91 z28 convertible years ago but I believe that is correct.

GM rarely put bolt specs in the parts catalogues
you’ll need to actually buy one to know.

Awesome! Thanks!

Tracking down the part number is even a challenge. None of the online parts catalogs seem to list the part numbers for fasteners, but m aybe I’m not looking in the right place.
I think I got what I need though.

U.S. catalogues (i think) list all bolts in 8.8__ or 8.9__ g roup number.
